CURN explores the relationship between geometry and material through a composition of stacked volumes. The vertically fluted ceramic cylinder introduces texture and rhythm, while the polished marble sphere creates a deliberate visual counterpoint above it. A slender metal stem and circular base give the lamp an elegant sense of lightness despite the richness of its materials. Rather than relying on ornament, the design celebrates proportion, contrast and craftsmanship.
