GAIA approaches outdoor lighting as a sculptural intervention rather than a conventional beacon, with its spherical concrete form creating intentional tension between visible mass and concealed illumination. In our design practice, we use it in gardens, walkway transitions, and terrace edges, where lighting needs to feel integrated into the landscape, in contemporary Budapest villas with stone paving and gravel paths. Designed by Yembara Studio for Faro Barcelona, it explores the contrast between illumination and shadow through a minimalist spherical geometry. Bazzikoshop chose GAIA because it can function both as landscape lighting and as an outdoor sculpture, where visual calm is just as important as technical performance.
