The TIERRA 520 designer pendant lamp was designed by Héctor Serrano for Faro Barcelona, combining 3D printing technology with unique materials. One of the most distinctive elements of the TIERRA 520 is its 3D-printed shade, made from a blend of PLA bioplastic and recycled pine cellulose. The manufacturing process results in a finely layered, slightly grainy surface that gives the lamp a natural, almost hand-formed character. When switched on, the shade glows with a soft, warm light, allowing the texture of the material and the light to work together to define the lamp's appearance.

In our HBellorín projects, we primarily choose the TIERRA 520 pendant lamp for dining areas where, alongside lighting, the materials and the character of the piece also play an important role. It works particularly well above smaller, intimate dining tables, where its warm light creates a pleasant atmosphere. The use of PLA bioplastic and recycled pine cellulose may also appeal to those who consider the materials used when selecting interior furnishings.
